Amplifier protection circuit...

Was thinking about this.

I'm making a very broad statement here, so I'm not speaking to any one manufacturer in particular.

If things like low voltage, low impedance, high temperature all either kill amps over time or make them pop on the spot, why don't manufacturers design a better protection circuit so that doesn't happen?

Because then the amp is to "limited" i guess you could say. Kind of like the newerr cars where one small engine issue will either shut the car down or throw it into limp mode.
