Amplifiers vs very cold weather?

Hello, I have my BC3500's stored in an unheated area in their boxes, The temp outside has been very cold this winter, 10 to -15 F off and on. Will this hurt my amps in any way? I can't see it being different from being mounted in a vehicle. Just curious. I also have an XS Batt in there. Hopefully they will be ok.

Honestly, I would bring the batt inside for the winter, unless you plan on driving it or periodically starting the vehicle and letting it charge. On the topic of charging I hook up my toys to chargers when I know they are going to be sitting. As for the amps, Not sure what to tell you. I've never had to worry about that. It dosnt get too cold here in MD. Just to be on the safe side if you have the space inside I would bring any electronics that are not installed in your vehicle indoors.

Yeah, Don't have alot of space inside. I usually put the batts on the intellicharger every so often they asre still floating at 12.9 ish. I might try to take them inside later

Your amplifiers should be fine. Heat affects electronics much more than the cold.

Unless your taking your amps out of storage throwing them into your ride and hammering on them straight away. they will be fine.

Damp on the other hand is something you don't want...

If there's ice building on them at night just cover them in a sealed plastic bin bag or something.

i shook this one kids hand and it just folded in mine. long story short i fucked his girlfriendso.. yeah..

You want this to happen to you? Give decent handshakes people.

I don't think there is any ice, it's in a garage that is insulated just not heated all the time. One is in its box and the other is not. Do you think the batts are ok also?

Should you not turn ut up all the way when you first start the car when the amps are cold?

As long as the cold doesn't cause any condensation, you are fine
