99blazer
Ive recently started having this problem. when i pulled out of my drive way ( i live on a busy street) i tryed to gun it and my blazer just hesatated to go so i let off the gas a bit and slowly had to accelerate. i was thinking it was the maf sensor. ive cleaned and it seemed to help but it might just b a temp fix. and i took a pic of the maf and i found a crack do you think this could be the problem? 08 Ford F150

Pioneerchuck
I know on the suburbans and Tahoes of the old body styles had this problem when their fuel pumps were on their way out. Not sure if the pumps are the same but its a simple test to make sure its good.

Pioneerchuck
Its worth it to check it out pressure should be in mid 50s. The other common problems for loss of power and sputtering are bad MAF sensors and clogged cats. Do you have any trouble codes on the computer?
