AI James Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 hes running 2 on that amp right now, they should be fine, i was mistaken they are dual 1ohm monoblcoks and bridge to 2ohm so either coil config should do well Quote
David Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 O ok yeah I didnt see before that it could be bridged to 3200 @ 2ohms so that would be 1600 RMS per......bare with my ignorance cuz Im kinda new to competition and more powerful drivers, but the RMS on a 15" BL is only 1000...or can they successfully take more power? I noticed the little asterick next to the RMS on FI's website but never found what it was there for. thanks for all the input. both are good woofers. I was told you can give the DC lvl 4's 2kw if your smart about, smallerish box smaller port, gains set correctlyand know your limits. Quote

Derrick824 Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 I'll agree that you should do a pair of 15s with one big amplifier instead of three 12s with three smaller amplifiers. You won't go wrong with either brand of subs. Loaded Bls can easily take 1600watts daily without any problems. Quote
Guest Nismofreak Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 (edited) yah i got a xxv colossus running about 1,600-1,750rms bridged at 2-ohms Edited February 2, 2008 by Nismofreak Quote
