This is one of the premier outdoor shows in the country. Probably the biggest and best on the east coast. Its not just a gun show its an outdoor show. ATVs boats snowmobiles backpacking camping etc. Well it also has a large gun contingent. It was announced that the company running the show would not allow "assualt weapons" to be sold or displayed. Vendors en masse have been jumping off the boat as a giant go to hell movement. Makes their vendors alot of money. most vendors do multiple shows with them and now wont be. not to mention that the companies pulling out just got a nice shot in the arm for it. This will hurt them more than you can realize. This will hurt them more than you can realize. Marquee? I was guessing that their automotive and computer electronics shows would be the most important. According to their events calendar they are more focused on engineering and manufacturing events. Most of their shows are in europe and asia too. Perhaps they were catching heat for allowing assault weapons at their gun shows from the computer, enviromental energy, and manufacturing vendors?
