hemisphere Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 I think i've finally decided on two DC audio level 3 10'' subs for my ram and i'm wondering what are my options in the 2500 watt range for amps?? i know DC sells the 2k amp, but i want to go a little above that and really hit my subs... unless that is not safe for my subs to go above 2000 watts my budget is $500-$1000 dollars so i don't mind spending a little more to get the right amp for my goals.. so what is a solid choice for myself?

hemisphere Posted January 30, 2013 Author Report Posted January 30, 2013 wouldn't a DC 3.5K overpower my subs and cause damage? or how would i set it up to make it safe for use?

Emmet Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 Since your budget is in the 500-1000 range I would nearly order 2 dual 2 level 3's and run that aq3500 at 2 ohms. Makes 2600w. Then if you want to upgrade subs in the future you have the headroom from the amp to do so i shook this one kids hand and it just folded in mine. long story short i fucked his girlfriendso.. yeah..
