Alright and last couple questions. Should I just add onto the stock wire or replace it? And do and of you know where the block to chassis is located on an f150?

Is there already a ground wire running from the engine to chassis? Or is this something that I will completely adding. I understand that the neg from the battery runs straight to my body. Them the pos to alt is simple. Bu that third wire from engine to chassis... Where is it?

T.A.G. - our kits include all the hardware required to connect your stock wiring to the upgraded clamps and require no special tools to do so. I have gone out of my way to include all of the components you'll need to install the kit successfully without needing a single thing other than common hand tools.

The purpose of the fuse on the charge lead is to protect on-board electrical components in the event of voltage run-away. This can occur if the voltage regulator in the alternator fails. If that happens, it is not uncommon to see an alternator put out 70-80 volts and that can certainly cause damage. In the 20 plus years I've been at this, I've never personally seen that happen but I do educate folks about the possibility of this. If you look closely at the stock charge lead on your truck, it likely has a fusible link (or pair of them) - this is exactly what that is for.

Hit me up when you're ready and yes, I'll work you a deal.
