I borrowed another HU from a guy at work tonight, I've got all the wires soldered up while I was on lunch, I'm going to throw it in in the morning and see what happens. Hopefully it works cuz ridin around with no beat is drivin me crazy.

If there was a factory amp, does anybody know where it would be located? I know there's google but 99% of the time the SMD members know more than google does lolz. And def dedication ha, sittin at the picnic table in the factory with an extension cord and my solder gun while everybody else at the table was eating lol id have pictures but I can get fired if i take pics inside the factory, stupid I know.

Well bad news yet again, never seems to be good news with audio and this truck. Went and threw the borrowed HU in and still the exact same thing. The HU will come on and change channels and everything and even play a CD, yet still no sound... I'm puzzled and kind of just staring at it not knowin what to do next. I soldered all my connections minus my remote turn on for my amp. Any suggestions on what to do next guys? I might try and hook up with another local SMD member and see if he can give me a hand.

Try to hook up a speaker directly to the output terminals of your deck. (Deosnt everyone have speakers just laying around? ) . If the speaker plays then you likely have an external amp somewhere....and it will feel good for you to know something is working. You can also try to run new wire bypassing the amp entirely.
