Jakeanator12 Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 My friend has a 01 yukon with a cassette player that has been disconnected, there wondering if its possible to wire a female 3.5mm plug in to connect to ipod or phone. im looking at 8 wires, Black, being ground then orange pink green grey brown w/white stripe and green w/white stripe im just wondering if its possible or not, and if anybody has any insight on what may need to be connected to the 3 wires coming from the female 3.5 mm. Jakeanator12 Posted January 31, 2013 Author Report Posted January 31, 2013 The cassette player is disconnected and the plug that goes into the cassette player is MIA, is it even possible to hood up a female 3.5 to these exposed wires? if not we will have to go a different route but i kinda want this to be an option.
