HelloMyNameIs Posted January 31, 2013 Report Share Posted January 31, 2013 Im selling my system, because im sick of breaking stuff in my car, I have 4 15in obsidian audios, a sundown 2500d, xs power battery, box included all extras nessicary included aswell I am selling this on craigslist (Because I would like to sell locally, my preference.) and im wondering what a fair price would be do you think? When I bought all equipment I spent about 2500, And I know I wont get that but, Id like to know a fair price that I should aim for? HelloMyNameIs Posted January 31, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 31, 2013 All 4 of the windows, the back hatch, the computer that tells me how many miles are left in my tank, the power seat for my drivers seat, the center console won't open anymore, and my rear view snapped off. SnowDrifter Posted January 31, 2013 Report Share Posted January 31, 2013 Honestly, what you are describing can either be fixed or it doesn't sound related to the bass like it might seem. I don't believe the bass would do that to your console, computer, or seat controls broke because of the bass. There are people on here with MUCH louder systems that haven't had any of those issues. I'd look into separate causes. Possibly an electrical issue? If your rearview fell off, just glue it back on. No biggie. Glue is 5 bucks. Regarding the broken windows: A loose regulator bolt can cause that - if it's loose and smacking around, the metal impacting the window has the potential to cause a break. And the back hatch: Look inside and see why it won't open. Could be something as simple as a loose bolt. Or depending on the car, an electrical issue like I mentioned above. A change in box and the addition of deadener should fix the issue. The reason why I doubt most of your problems are bass related is you have 4 15s on 2500 watts. It's no pushover, but that's no where near enough to cause the issues you are experiencing. I have a team mate with 4 15s on 10k and he doesn't even have those issues. The clips that hold the trim panel to the hatch are broke, but that's because his port is only a couple inches away.
