I was looking around at Ground Zero subs and amps, and I haven't seen more than a couple people use them and I was just wondering if anyone on here used them before, had any experience with them, or knew the quality. They look legit, but who knows.

Yeah, he does badass installs. There's one video on youtube of 4 GZ Plutonium 18's in a VW, and it looks nasty. I've checked their website, and their subs are a pretty penny, but I wasn't sure if they were worth it.

I once heard a rumor that the owner of Ground Zero used to be involved with TC sounds in the beginning.. He ran off with some of the ideas to germany to create the gz motors. A buddy of mine (cc_audio on here) used to own a plutonium that was custom built by forevrbumpin.. That was a serious subwoofer, it was basically a LMS 5400 with a bigger gap from what he told me. there is a couple vids of it up, but all i know was it got nasty loud on 2000w and it wasnt even near its RMS.. I would try one out if I could get my hands on one..
Here's a link, and the SMD build link is in the discription...

GZ has been around since the mid 90's . Unfortunately, they don't have any marketing team here in the states, so you don't see much of them anymore.

Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)
