Rmichael91 Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 A quick search on google, multiple sources, shows your anywhere from a 60amp alt (odd in my opinion), to a 110amp stock alternator. Leaning towards the higher, I would suggest a high output. Mechman and Singer both build a few units. You don't necessarily need the XS batteries, you could use the REMY Dekas and be fine. But do the big 3 in 1/0 and a run from the front battery to rear battery.

But do the big 3 in 1/0 and a run from the front battery to rear battery im still kinda new but i havent read thru the the big three yet. but my plan was to run 1/0 from the alt to the main battery and 1/0 to the rear battery, 1/0 grounds as well so you have a good return. and then put in a h.o. alt

Toyotas may be a different set up. I'm more accustomed to Hondas, Ford, and GM.

def loudness Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 Ratski....just go with a GM CS144 (cross ears)hi-output alternator...with little modifications to it and a longer serpentine belt. Do a google search....a lot of Toyota trucks and 4Runner has this upgrade.

Try and run the Delia out back and keep my regular in the front and see how she does if not so well ill just add another Dekka to replac the front batt. Now just gonna decide on an alt and be ready to wire her up
