mlundin04
i have a kicker l5 15 inch and a rockford fosgate 500 watt powering it. i was thinking about getting rid of the rockford and getting an amp the pushes around 1000 watts rms. Would this make a difference?

KillaCam
It wont be a night a day difference. And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth.. Guest
theoretically, you'll gain 3dbs. in reality, you'll just be a little louder to the ear.
mnrookie
Go for it. I went from a 1000 watt kicker to an aq2200 on 2 l7 and that made a huge difference

I think Kyle's right, OP could see a better gain depending on what the enclosure is like now.
