Higher Output alternator VS Extra Battery

Recommended Posts

I would probably say alternator you already have a battery upgrade sounds like and a good alternator plus big 3 upgrade can help keep your battery charged even if your subs pull alot of juice... from what I've learned so far though i can't imagine a 140a doing much help with any serious system either...

Thats what i was thinking, if i decide to go bigger a 200A+ Alternator would be better.. im just thinking 35A's isn't going to make much of a difference

I guess you the alternator and do the Big 3. Idk what a kind of batt the Die Hard Gold is, but it´s bad to mix lead acid with AGM batt´s.

Didn't even think about that -______- Thanks.

Idk Die Hard, im from Germany, we have no brand Die Hard here.

yea. I'm currently talking with Mechman about getting my hands on either a 240a or a 270a for my car... granted I'm also about to be running 2200w and going to 4k+ once I have the money to... idk what your system looks like... but I was under the impression 150 was usually the output on a stock alt... ?

Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol

yeah because you did something like "Fi vs Skar". this is an electrical question, for which option would yield him better voltage. you cant nuthug a battery over an alternator, or vice versa. you can nuthug brands.

if you are asking "hey should I buy a DC sub, a SA sub or a SQ sub?" that's a vs thread... that's not allowed... because all it will do is start a brand war and you won't get any real answers you will just have a bunch of ppl fighting for the brand in their car... this is asking what should he upgrade first in order to be most beneficial for his system... no brands so no brand wars...

Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol

I've got a DieHard under my hood but it's a Die Hard Platinum and it's a deep cell... idk about Gold though
