Hmmmmmmm.....

well,... good luck man.... :)

I'm not dead set on these woofers but they have given me nice results so far.

I am however dead set on selling my hybrids for some bigger woofers. I'm gonna try to get the best 12's I can fit in my car that will play what I wanna play. Basically I'm shopping around on all the 2k rms 50lb 12's right now. :)

But I'm very happy my buddy was nice enough to loan me these.

X's look good in there man. I have the Zv4 12's and that displacement + enclosure size is just too much for my trunk at the moment. Not SPL monsters but they do get loud and low! I'm guessing if you got a larger enclosure those X's would sound even better.

My enclosure is only 3.8 after all displacements (besides woofers) tuned to 31 with 11.6sq in of port per cube with a 3inch double center kerfed port.

They work very well in my application so far.

Last comp my score went up by over a full DB.

147.6 (did this score about 15 times in a row)

My weak point is my electrical at idle now. It was at 12.3v. And when you give my amp above 13.5 it really boosts power hard. I found that out by accidentally having the AC off and honda turning my alternator off. So I was playing music at 12.8v before drop, most likely into the 11's and I noticed a 1-2db difference from when I demo revving with my voltage holding 13.6.

So I'm thinking since I already have XS power d3400 and d3100 installed and they both hold 12.9v resting. I already have all OFC. All my cables are crimped 16ton hydro crimpers. I'm grounded to excellent grounds both front and back. And I already have dual inputs on the amp...I think my next electrical ventures are gonna be alternator, and/or ultracaps.

My alt is rated for 150-160 at idle. Before I start let me say that I've only done idle testing like 3 or 4 times.. And they were on semi freshly charged batts.

On music, I can hold 13v for a good 2 or 3 mins.

With a good alt, you'd be in a pretty good place. Hit up singer and see what he can do. My idle is solid, and it's not anything special. If he can hook you up with a 6phase hairpin.. You'd be fucking solid. More efficient (less rpm drop), and more power at idle.

No sir. Not. Legal score. But for some reason my car is not too far behind on that. I was doing mid 146's constantly during testing legal and doing above mid 147's outlaw constantly.

Singer still doesn't want to put a hairpin on my alternator application. He wants to make me another copy of exactly what I have already which is 180rev and 120idle.

I can't do another $400 just to have the same thing to say I have a singer alternator.

I'm seriously .5db from being the loudest musical trunk that I know of in my class in Texas. There is a guy doing 151's but he has double the power and 2 15's and 5 more batteries then I have.

LOL. I can hardly hold good voltage with out clipping as it sits with my current electrical and you want me to get HDD's or level 5's or SHD's and more power?

All 3 of those woofers would EAT my amp, and the SHD would do it on a single coil.

I think those are out of my league since i really can't do more weight. I can add electrical like alternator and ultra caps. But more batteries is almost out of the question for sure.
