Nates_Veloster
Sup guys. So Ky talked me into placing up a build post so here we go. She's a 2012 Hyundai Veloster. Base model, since that was all they had. She came right off the truck, right into my hands. Wife and I fell in love with the color and she said I could fix her up myself instead of waiting for an upgraded model, so we took her home. Here's a car domain page that I've got up: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3971695/2012-hyundai-veloster/ First thing we done the day we got her was get the windows tinted. Next was getting some new shoes on. Put on some 20" boss helos with some rubber band nitto tires. Probably not the smartest thing to do with Louisiana roads. I've already had to replace one wheel and tire, which sucks. Then I had two kicker comp vr 12's and two amps laying around from a previous build that I had gotten rid of so we had a local place install everything. 6 months later my boys left my back door unlocked and someone got lucky and stole the box and 12's. Then I was bitten by the bug which finds me here. I upgraded this past Christmas with a Fi BL 12. My brother built me a box as a surprise. Ported, tuned to 36. Quickly realized that my Brutus 1000 was not going to be enough, so I am using a borrowed Brutus 2000. Plans are to upgrade the amp to a DC 2k, upgrade the batteries, wire over to welding lead 1/0, and upgrade the big 3. I am having serious electric issues and those steps should help big time. I have some older photos that I'll get up now and then I'll get some more up this week of new stereo that I am trying to build. New mods with some ledglow lights for interior and exterior. Ive also dyno-x'ed the doors and trunk, which has helped big time. We love our little violet and shes a fun car to have and this is going to be a fun build to learn how to do. Thanks for reading. I'll get more pics up! Nates_Veloster
Ledglow mods The present I gave myself for Xmas.. Had to wait a month but man she's a beaut... Original box that I bought from Jays Audio in Lake Charles. After spending several grand there in just a few months, they screwed me over a busted up box and let me walk over $100. Their loss. Now I gotta fix this POS and sell it to get something back. Older style Hifonics. This thing rocks, just not enough for this Fi. It laughs at it. Out loud. Trying to sell it locally. New borrowed amp until I can get this DC 2k or an AQ2200. Just depends on income tax or moving my old amp That's all I got for now. I'll get some more up later. Nates_Veloster
Thanks guys. Being a youth pastor with 2 kids, I don't have a butt load of cash to throw at her, but a little here and a little there and she'll get there. I am excited about trying to get this stereo done right. cc_audio
I had to double take the title, thought it said Molester Build. Was expecting a nice big windowless van. Looks sick, that car has some wicked lines in it inside and out. It's all gone! The Celica Build Feedback If I buy something from you, DO NOT USE FEDEX!
