Problem is, they will be exposed and I need a grill to protect them from rouge kicks to the cone. with such a high surround and 12mm of throw I highly doubt any normal grill will fit. Then the grill connects to that plate. yes, thats how they are usually made. I doubt any of those will be large enough to accommodate this speaker. I think I still have my rainbow grills to try too, though. If I make removable panels then I guess I have to pick between magnets and pressure clips...
