Hifonics GLX1000.1D any good?

The only actual line of trustage from Hifonic´s is the BZR line, the other lines are known for not doin rate. I wouldn´t run a Gladiator amp @ 0.5 Ohm.

Get 2 BRZ 1200 http://www.woofersetc.com/c-3-amplifiers.aspx?manufacturerid=34, or with a BRZ 2100 2400 http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=Gladiator&Channels=Mono&_dcat=18795&Brand=Hifonics&_osacat=18795&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313&_nkw=BRZ&_sacat=18795

I planned on running both of them at 1 ohm to each sub, because i have a budget. I want to send at LEAST 1000RMS to each sub and i cant run at 1 ohm if im going to be using a single amp.

I understand that, but the BRZ is not so much over the GLX line, cheapest offer of the GLX 1000 i found was 160.

Surly you want get 1000 watt RMS per sub from the Gladiator series.

Little cheaper offer http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_23922_Hifonics_BRZ12001D.aspx

why would i want that? its more money and not what i want to do? 1000 at the MAX. i dont wanna risk my SA-12's

Sorry try to talk to us clear, 1000 watt RMS and 1000 watt max, is apple and orange´s, And Glx is shit and the BRZ line proven.

20 $ more to get what printed on. The cheapest and best possiblity is to run a single BRZ 2400 on 2 Ohm´s, that means only 1 amp 1 time wiring, from a amp that do

what you want and your SA 12´s will take it. The most of the more watt´s you will loose in boxrise. Here a link to the audio tool´s map maby you find someone

near to set the gain´s of your system and you will be fine and easy with trustable watt´s http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/137758-smd-audio-tools-map/

Hey Eric, you've got subs rated for 600W RMS. Run 1200W RMS to the pair, but nearly double. I understand that the SA will take far more than rated, but it WAS rated to put out its advertised performance with 600 Watts. Sending nearly double the RMS power creates heat, and heat(along with dirty clipped signals) are what kill speakers. You screwed up and got the wrong impedance, it sucks and a lot of us have been there. You need to take a step back and come up with a different plan now that you know you made a mistake. Possibly trade the subs you have for D4 versions? Recone the ones you have to D4? Find a nice used amp that puts out 1200 Watts at 2 ohms? Beef up your electrical system and run .5 ohm(I never suggest this, is merely an avenue you COULD explore)? You have options, figure out what works best for you.

if you get 2 amps, do you know how to set them so they aren't clipping? Do you know how to gain match?

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

Or he goes with a BRZ 2100 they doin 1400 watt RMS on 2 Ohm, and are surly cheaper than 2 not doin rated 1000 GLX.

I am still only on my second system, i dont know much as the people on here. So you are saying my best bet is to just match them? Thats what the people at Best buy recommended :P

What amp would u suggest?
