Haven't updated for a little while, but I've been working on it a little.

Got the face of the box sanded out, was running low on primer during these pics:

Then started working on the corners:

Then had to do some maintenance:

Had to redo the brakes, it was scary to drive, so I enlisted some help for this part, since I have problems bending over for long periods of time with my back all jacked up.

Then we made a junkyard run to find some parts.

Was missing a hood vent:

Also didn't have any cowl vents:

Got a new fuel door to replace my rusted one:

And got a replacement door

The door that was on the truck was tearing in half, and was about as strong as tin foil:

So we got another door from the junkyard:

Also got a chrome grill from a newer truck:

We also fixed an exhaust leak, repacked the wheel bearings, and just went over the mechanicals with a fine tooth comb. Found that the lower control arm bushings are shot, so they'll be next to be replaced.

Then the 1st piece of the new audio setup showed up:
