The total RMS of the XLs is 8800 and you have 10kwrms on tap.Edit: Are you talking about after voltage drop and impedance rise? if I can actually see 10kW after box rise, the XL would be a better choice. Maybe I'm under guessing what 2 5Ks are capable of.

And not to mention its still may. Right. When I got the car the A/C did not work. It took more money then I thought to get it working. Not about to throw all that away. Or get XLs with D.7 coils, and strap at 1.4... or run each amp at .7 I was planning on running the SSDs at .5 daily. UBL was made for??? Dont even start! I dont even want to hear it! There are so many posts on here of members telling me to make a UBL. I finally made one and you ask why... Come on Kyle.

CleanSierra Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 I don't see you being able to keep voltage all day with the current draw you're going to be asking of 1 alternator. Maybe the lower power subs are a better idea. I think the WALL build itself should be put on hold. You need to know your subs before continuing and affecting displacements one way or another. And related to your running at .5 ohm for daily, if you want a demo machine, that may be too low of a daily impedance. I guess unless you strap for a 1 ohm load. Wouldn't you rather to be able to demo for longer with a proper impedance, than run too low and have to constantly wait to get the bank charged back up? 4 15s, especially of the caliber your likely to buy, will be impressive in that little car, no matter why. Be smart about what impedance you choose to run. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
