ok I totally read the title of your post like 10 times and the first 9 times I could swear it said "how do I go about selling my stilled owned car to get a new one" I was like well I would hope you still own it otherwise why are you trying to sell it... I'm going back to sleep someone wake me up sometime before the zombies get here

Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol

It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.

you are so borderline dude. taht sucks.

http://www.creditscore.net/credit-score-range/

you really shouldnt need a cosigner to be honest.

yea thats why I was so pissed I didn't get it... I have a good score make like 2,300 a month don't pay for shit else and have paid off my one credit card a week early ever since I've had it...Thats why I wondered if I should try to get one at a different credit union.

But than again they didn't deny me because of bad credit, they denied me because of "lack of credit history".

Yeah, my credit isn't a whole lot higher and the wife and I both have newer cars without cosigners.

Maybe I missed it, but is the tahoe you're looking at with a dealership or private?

Well I haven't decided which one yet I have a couple in mind 1 is private and 2 are at the dealer...I can't really do anything with any of them though because If I don't have that loan I can't cover the difference between my car and the tahoe, and I can't even sell my car...When I called the credit union and they were draggin me through everything she made me give her the VIN of a tahoe, I told her I was looking at numerous ones and pulled up one from cars.com that I was looking at and gave her the VIN # again, and again told her this is just an example of one of the ones I was looking at.

there is no super fast way to build your credit score. ive seen people take out 2000 dollar persoanl loans and then turn around and pay it right back off with money they had in their checking. gain 2k pay 2k status quo on the revenue. but it takes time for it to hit your credit and then show as paid off. It took me a long ass time to build good credit. Im 800plus now.

I know Lake Trust CU shot me down due to lack of history, but Chemical Bank was cool with it. Wife has hers through PNC bank.......

Shit, I just realized we're 5 and 6 years older than you.. yeah that's going to affect what you can get.

If you go through a stealership, many will check through 20, 30, 40+ banks/CU's to see what they can get you as far as rates, but if you need to dump the car to pay for the new one it get's tough.

Yea see like I said worst case scenario I have to wait to get my cosign in like 3 months....I'm willing jump through hoops to get it...but only so many lol

Yea I'm only 19 haha that's pretty much the biggest thing....still I didn't think 10k was an extreme amount to be asking for

You could still check around other credit unions to see if you will qualify, but instead of them running your credit again you can ask them what credit score do you need to have for them to qualify you. Since you already know yours then you won't have them run it unless you know that you have a high enough credit score for them to qualify you. I think they didn't qualify you because of the interest rate that they offer but I'm pretty sure you can get qualified somewhere else but you will have a higher interest rate.

Getting pre approved might be a little difficult. I say sell your car privately. Then that pays off the loan. Boom increase your score. Then go the dealer with the Tahoe you like and tell him what you want. Haggle price all the way as far as you can. You can knock a few grand off. Then put a fat down payment. I'm sure they can find someone who will finance you for sure

The only problem is that I literally can't go two days without a car....So I deff can't get stuck in a situation where the charger is gone and I'm stuck lookin for a tahoe that can take a week or longer..Also by the time I do all that and it actually reflects in my credit score my mom will be ready to cosign for me lol....Looks like I might just have to wait :( I fuckin hate being patient :jon:
