RooTxBeeR
The more port area the more peaky it will be, the less the more of a bandwidth you will have. RooTxBeeR
Either are better, depends on what you want. Do you want to have a smaller bandwidth but be louder in a small area, or be a bit less louder in that area, and have a larder bandwidth On 11/20/2012 at 8:54 PM, AMI CUSTOMS said: Turned mine up today at a light, guy next to me his steering wheel started moving and he looked over at me like I was a magician lol. ToNasty
ill just do 15-16. i tend to always build to smaller port area so ill try out more and see how it works out ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
bkolfo4
The only way a smaller port will increase bandwidth is if you build it so small it does not operate correctly. If you are going to do that, just build it sealed. Not sure where people come up with some of these ideas. Current system: 1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s Previous systems: 2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz. 1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.
