Max1636
Some of you might know I recently purchased one of these: I'll soon be running a pair of Fi SP4 18" Subwoofers in my 1995 VW Golf GL. I noticed these are 18v capable, I've never thought of running an 18v setup but I was sitting at my desk and came up with an idea to run the amp at 18v. The batteries are rated 800CCA, 90aH, but have been tested to output much more. People claim these beat Kinetik's, Optima's and XS Power batteries. They are also super lightweight so I can use more than most other batteries and not weigh my car down too much. Here's what they look like... lol (Old Car) 1995 Volkswagon Golf MK3 2.0L: Fi SP4 18 On A DC Audio 3.5K In A PWK Box Hertz DSK 6" Speakers, Clarion HU 3x Fullriver 120aH AGM's, 225A Alt 2012 Subaru BRZ: Audison Prima APK 163 Bit One, Rockford Amps, Audison Sub

kirill007
18V ftw! Now you only need 637,298 more 9 volt batteries to power that amp for 10min of bumpin' You would be surprised, you don't need more then 2000 of them to get 500Ah, If you only want to play for 10min at full volume playing a tone,( let's assume a 500A draw) A energizer lithuim 9v has a capacity of .5Ah, so two of them have a capacity of .5Ah with 18V. So you need about 334 of them to play 10minutes of tones at full volume to drop to about 11V. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
