If you have a DMM use it to check the remote wire. voxigenboy Posted March 14, 2013 Author Report Share Posted March 14, 2013 update: everything checks out fine. it was a blown fuse on the main ground cable. it looked like it was still ok but ended up not being the case. it was the same fuse that blew about 3 - 4 months ago. so, would upgrading the cable & fuse stop this from happening? voxigenboy Posted March 14, 2013 Author Report Share Posted March 14, 2013 Maybe I should put a fuse on my grounds too lol must be something newsorry fellas, if you want to know how to build a computer, produce your own dance music... i'm your guy. but with car audio i'm really just going off of what people are telling me. i've had shop(s) install everything. most i've done myself was just change out an amp/subs & replace fuses. wish i knew more but seems i have a ton ofresearch ahead of me. the fuse i'm talking about though is up front near the battery/fuse box and is attached to a red cable... so since black is ground, i got that mixed up.
