CommonSyns
Looking for a new speaker set up has to be surround sound. My current speaker set up which is a Logitech G51 the gaming surround sound speakers are getting old, I would like to give them to my friend before I move to TN. Is the newish Logitech Z906 good? I'm looking to set it up for my computer and maybe my TV, PS3, and whatever else I get. KMS
I went with an AVR with the Dayton Audio HTP-3 speaker package. I used to have the Z5500 from Logitech and really like these Dayton's a lot better. Seperate mid and tweet rather then both together like the Logitech. I paid under $400 for everything and am very pleased. Also, more inputs this way without having to change wires frequently if I were to use my consoles. CommonSyns
I think that I will go with the newest Logitech 5.1 surround that's a home theater system, a gaming (console) system and a computer system. If anyone has a better suggestion before i purchase this please let me know, I'm looking for a 5.1 or a 7.1 system. The Logitech systems subwoofer i think is a 10" subwoofer. CommonSyns
Unfortunately I believe that the Logitech z906 is only an online purchase, Everywhere I've looked in brick and mortar stores they only have the smaller 5.1 systems and the 2.1 systems. There are videos of the z906 but they are always filmed on crappy cameras or video cameras. CommonSyns
I've always liked Klipsch, they have amazing sound quality. My friend has that exact same system I believe and it sure surprised me to the point here it rivaled my own Logitech 5.1 G51 system for my computer. I would definitely consider it if I was looking for a 2.1 computer system. Unfortunately I am looking for a 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound computer system setup.
