OrionStang
Don't you gotta torque them down with the wheels on the ground or ramps? SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
Miguels
i dont know about that but im using grade 8.8 bolts with nylon lock nuts.. they wont get loose anytime soon my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
OrionStang
Its not about getting loose, its about binding the bushings and creating wheel hop. You got to leave the bolts loose, then put a load on the suspension before tightening. If yo don't have ramps lower the car with wood under the rear tires, enough so you can scoot under there with the car resting on its wheels. EDIT: Further explanation, if you tighten those arms with the suspension hanging, you are essentially pre-loading them. OrionStang
Just don't want you to waste your time and not get the results from the upgrade. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
Broke_Audio_Addict
Orion is right, I use a jack to compress the suspension when doing trailing arms. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Broke_Audio_Addict
No. That's what they make service manuals for.
