I think for it to be isobaric they have to share a sealed chamber and be in a push/pull configuration...I could be off though. Just my understanding. Do you have definitive measurements of you maximum space? Do you use sketchup? If not I could do a model for you if you get me measurements. mrd6 Posted March 11, 2013 Report Posted March 11, 2013 here are a couple of questions i forgot to ask: 1 what is a good ratio for sealed to ported volume? 2 how much port area do i need and what air velocity do need to stay under? 3 I've been trying using win isd pro and the is more than one type of 4th order? 4 does it matter if the top of the box is angled? i wouldnt think so but i had to ask. 1) do at least 2:1 if you have the space get to a 3:1 (these subs are not optimal for 4ths so they need a bigger ratio to have a good gain factor) 2) I would start around 1/2 your cone area and keep your port velocity around 5% the speed of sound if you can (what is that something like 60m/s?), definitely above 2% and below 9%. 3)pretty much just one type unless you are doing something really weird 4) No lol And the way you have it drawn is not iso or any special loading My Build Log: http://www.stevemead...-sundown-power/ Team NorthWestSPL

It all just depends on what you're looking for, but neither of the options available there is really good for car audio as they are so flat. People usually aim for a peaky response that matches the cabin gain to get the final response to be linear.
