I did some minor research on these and apparently "Ultracapacitors quickly capture energy from braking and then use that energy to provide a short burst of power during acceleration" - reference http://www.maxwell.com/products/ultracapacitors/industries/transportation. pretty cool stuff. Do you think implementing super capacitors could provide an external source of power along with a series of batteries? Mabey gaining some sort of charge from the revolutions of a vehicles wheels or the momentum from braking?

I've always thought it would be cool to build a HUGE capacitor bank - on the order of 1500+ farads and put it in a car. You know... Just to see :P

That would be cool to have 500-1000w of solar power energy on your truck...

I think imma show those panels to my stepdad for use on your trailer...we could do probably 4 of the 50w panels....and maybe run our generator less out camping.
