Yea, Im thinking Im gunna do 2 VVX 15's on a sk1500. My girl has a 2000 4 door also with many builds as well. fecupe2001 Posted April 20, 2013 Report Share Posted April 20, 2013 explorers are FUNNNN, i built 26 boxes for mine on 2012, yes you saw it right, 26!!!! and they can definitely get loud easily, believe it or not, best i´ve found was using 4 12´s , works way better than 2 15´s for sure, 2 subs driver´s side, 2 subs passenger side and 3 6" aeros facing back, also, subs up/port back is the best option for multiple subs, for single sub, i have to say port side is the best option on my explorer, but having a guy doing over 150 on a single sub on this topic, i have my doubts now lol, great thread!
