Recommended Posts

Rock music will sound great on any size woofer as long as the box is designed and built correctly.

I say go for the pair :)

i found an add on craigslist for 2 dc lvl4 m1 18s for $450 and i was wondering if i should buy those or just get 12s or 15s bc my friends say that the sound quality wont be good so i was wondering what yall guys think?

Make sure the condition of the subs is good, don't get 18s unless you have about 12 cubes net available in your vehicle.

You can always recone them down to smaller sizes if you can't fit 12 cubes

Krakin's Home Dipole Project

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
