Chris Hammer
power handling I think the z is 1000+ more then the X..don't quote me though. 1 Quote MY BUILD *****http://tinyurl.com/gmcbuild***** Vehicles 2005 GMC Canyon CB1000r - Currently where any future funds are going. Pauly1987
So the X is more geared for a lower wattage system! (Like what i have 2.5-3.5k) And the Z WOULDN'T be happy with anything under 5k?
SnowDrifter
The X is an in-between of the SA and Z lines 1 Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

SnowDrifter
Looking at your amp choice, you should be fine with the X line. Getting the Z wouldn't hurt anything, other than you might be spending a bit more than you need to Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
Pauly1987
Ok I think imma pull the trigger on the x line as I never plan on running more than 3.5k and 12 cubes for a box 2 18 x types it is!
soBASED
I think Jake said somewhere around here that the X will be great for low frequencies but won't really be a burper but they will eventually make a SPL recone kit for em. With the power you'd got, either one would be good, I'd say go for the X for daily, just my opinion though. Pauly1987
The x seems to be more for me as I'm never gunna see anything passed 3.5k and 2 18 sundown x in a 12 cube box I think would get down The z needs some power to get moving, power that I can't afford to buy cause with that u need to upgrade electrical which gets expensive
