ncochran
The best thing about the RF amp is that it is CEA compliant, so if it says XXXX watts, then you should get at least that (at the rated voltage) The other amp is probably not, so it may say XXXX watts but there are no guarantees, and you are way more likely to get only XX watts.... Non CEA compliant amps pretty much get their ratings buy putting 18V (or some other ridiculously high voltage) at .25 ohm to the prototype for 2 seconds lol... The actual production model would probably not handle that even if you had the charging system to feed it. Therefore you never get even close to the amps rating with your 12-14V charging system. 2006 Scion xB 2 Sundown SA12D2 Ported at 32hz 147 on non termlab (140-142 on TL) Currently in a walled 4th @ 50hz (not metered yet) Hifonics brz2100 Alpine Type-S Components Kicker 300.2 Big 3 / Skyhigh 1/0 cca Optima Blue Top 3 e8s ported at 32hz 135.1 sealed on dash @ 56hz 135.0 outlaw (I must have chosen song poorly lol) Build log 'Brandon15zzz', on 09 May 2012 - 3:13 PM, said: May have been clipping but none fucks were givin. Hahaha yeah I get ya. Yeah my RF amp is like 1515 wrms. I really just wanted to wire that 2 channel for the experience because I've never done any wiring before. But I didn't know enough about it so I make a topic on it. But hey thanks. I'm getting my t1000 installed next Wednesday. 2013 Ford Focus Hatchback SE Kicker CS61234 Kicker 40CS674 Kicker KST25 Sundown Audio SA-12 D2 Rockford Fosgate t1000-1bdcp Rockford Fosgate t400-4 Audio Control LC7i Kinetik HC2000 0/1 Gauge Big 3 Upgrade Beer, babes, and bass.
