Getaway alternator before batteries. Get the biggest alt you can. And on my system I try not to go under 12v

fuck the plating. look at what the main metal used is. you could buy unicorn blood plated terminals but if its just covering up dog shit, whats the point

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

Ok being on a budget a 200 amp alt would suffice quite nicely. You don't "need" anything bigger

I'd get that first.

Then it would be best to upgrade both batts at the same time

Being on mobile sucks for research

I'll let you know which and how many batts when I'm on a laptop

Ok, so bad news, they dont make a high output alternator for my engine. So thats out of the question. Im idling at 14.8v and only dropping till about 12.2-12.4 now. Thats with the rockford t-2500bd-CP and t600.4 going full tilt. Two batteries installed, and big 3 done. Im thinking about going for an xs power d3400 under the hood and the other battery in the back and seeing where that puts me at. Any other sugestions?

I had a sunfire and got an alt from dc power. The alt for the firebird fits the sunfire. Just email them or I'm sure Mechman makes an alt for the sunfire.
