Considered putting a hole in the center of the seat for more space?

thanks! i had thought about making an amp rack in the center of the seat but i have not decided on that yet. as far as a hole for more space in the box no, but that is a good idea it will give me something to think about as far as aesthetics wise.

One thing ive really had on my mind is what size load to put on the ONX1.1000d. I would like to wire it to .5 ohms (dual 2 ohm coils). but im not sure if the amp can handle it. i know the hifonics brutus amps can take a .5 load and since mb quart and hifonics are under maxxsonics id figure they would have similar boards just different components.

no hifonics are only for 1 ohm load.. those amps aren't the best reliability wise i wouldn't even run mine at 1 ohm. Tuned in for the build tho

I wouldn't though. Just get a amp that does the power you want at 1ohm or 2ohms.

If you are trying to run 1200w and are on a budget budget you could run what I do..some will hate on it..but you could sell it and get something bigger later. PPI bk1300

thanks for the info. i think im gonna spend a little more and get the q1-1200d mainly because the clarion EQS746 has 7 volt preouts. needless to say it would probably benefit me more to spend the extra 100 or so dollars.

Thanks, it really means a lot coming from you. And I couldn't be happier with the sig especially because the beast sub and I have the same router lol. Also if you have a chance can you give me some pointers on how to improve? I have also got some big ideas on an amp rack that I would like to pm you about. I want it to be a surprise on the final product and maybe drop a couple of hints along the way.
