xx1
@skippyj Jared is the world champion for heavyweight bass boxing. Team sundown/ nemisis that build seems sick, he was already pretty loud with the 4 sa15's. are you going for 3:1 ratio? should be loud!!! audio related merchandise (decals, banners, lanyards, hats, shirt, etc)

stroupe79
I have the same model Jeep as your Avatar...where did you get your measurements?....height max is 29inches unless you remove the back seat and build down to the floor 4th's are nice...6th's are too, but with the right design a flat ported wall will be just as loud if not louder than you think... http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)

I'm no were near a 162 on music if the 18s are crammed at 17.5 net, where you going to fit the 28 cubes you want for a 4th? Do what you want too, I just think you won't be nearly as happy as you think you will dropping that much cone area in hopes that a 4th will be louder than ported. mrlovethatbass21
A 4th order will shit all over a ported box all day, most everybody that is big league that competes has a 4th order. The proof is on the puddin. I'm no were near 160db rite now. That's what Jared is doing with the 15"s so it is a fact that a 4th can be louder. Nobody and I mean nobody is doing 160 on music in a ported box .
mrd6
^This is a completely false statement dude, lol you should research a bit more Edit: The last part I mean. Just because Jared can do it doesnt mean you can. You will most likely be alot louder with the 18s. But you seem to have already decided what you want to do so I dont see why you made this post to begin with.....
