mrlovethatbass21
I have to correct you guys on a few things. I no from expirence last summer that one 8" aero port was loud as hell with two zv3 18"s in 9 cubes. Not enough port but was painful tuned to 38hz. Then I went to one tench aero port and that's only like 72" square inches of port and I was doing a 54db it. When using aero ports you only need 9-12 cubes per foot. So if my box is 17.5 cubes then I would need about 157"-210" square inches of port. And according to psp calc in order for me to get 38hz tuning each aero would only have to be 12" long. mrlovethatbass21
And they don't need to be mounted externally
AMI CUSTOMS
Build it then IMO Aeros on a box that size is a waste of time, slot would be just as loud and why easier for testing. Aero's lose there effeiciency factor when the box starts to get larger then 10 cubes. That is what I have seen in all my testing, 10s, 12s, 15s, 18s. Slot port was way to go for numbers after 10 cubes.
