I did crawl under the best I could and everything seemed normal. I tried to wiggle everything and everything seemed pretty sturdy. That's probably because it was on the ground though. So when I get it jacked up I will need to wiggle the tire. If it has some play, wheel bearing. When I look at everything else, will a simple wiggle test and just a close look over suffice? I don't know what other things I could do to check everything. Would hate to take it to a shop and get gouged by them. DubNDodge Posted April 6, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 6, 2013 Ok well I went out and jacked it up. Nothing would wiggle. Tire had no play in any direction. The only that would move was the axle that went into the wheel. It moved in and out, which I am assuming is normal. All the bushings seemed fine. I know the strut bushings are fine because I had them replaced this past summer. So I'm stumped. Anyways that noise is basically gone. Pisses me off how there will be a noise, then all of a sudden it is gone. This is the 3rd time, this has happened, each time with a different noise.
