deathcards Posted April 8, 2013 Report Posted April 8, 2013 Bottom line is you are turning it up too loud. You can set the loudness however you want, and you can turn the bass boost up if you like, but then you cannot turn the volume up as high. You are trying to get more bass out of your system than it is setup to produce. . . Are you thermally killing the subs or ripping them apart mechanically? Thermal. They look fine but of course the dust cap was warm so I'll assume the voice coils were toasted lol.. Wish I would've made this thread 4 Clipped subwoofers ago. $300 down the drain man lol.. I'm in High School and it took me forever to get everything all for nothing. Just installed my D3400 in the rear too haha what do the tensil leads look like i believe they should be silver some1 correct me if i am wrong skar sk2500.1 0 gauge power and ground kunukonceptz alpine HUvxi65 components on BA gt-275new build log -> http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/150642-project-d-kon-deathcards-build-log/#entry2148821 2 x-15 sundowns singer alt, odyssey bat, and maxwell ultra caps
boom50cal Posted April 8, 2013 Report Posted April 8, 2013 Did 412cvx design your box? Turn it down lol, just like everyone else said. Flat eq and all that fancy junk off. Is your voltage staying above a minimum of 13.0 AT the amps when your playing full tilt or whatever you blow them at? You could be reading 13.4 at the battery, but that could drop down to 12.6 or less at your amps. On 1/4/2013 at 9:31 PM, HatersGonnaHate said: Wow. 184 posts and I think you're a fucking asshole.

Voltage was good because I was driving at the time (stock 120a alt) but I could be wrong because I have a cig lighter Stinger Volt Meter, not one directly at the amps yet.
