Markous
I meant box and port dimensions to go with the recomended volume and tuning. They say .5 to .75 cubes @ 35hz even those two box sizes would be nice to see. Joe X
So here is a suggestion to 750W RMS for the SA-8v2, depending on your specific vehicle you may probably want different port/sub aimings: Enclosure Specifications:Fb = 34.5 HzVb = 0.66 ft^3External Height = 9.5 inExternal Width = 21.25 inExternal Depth = 13.25 inPort Width = 1 3/8 inCut Sheet List:* All Dimensions in Inches.* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.External Enclosure Parts:Front & Back = 21 1/4 x 9 1/2Left & Right Sides = 11 3/4 x 8Top & Bottom = 21 1/4 x 11 3/4L Port Internal Assembly Parts:Front to Back = 10 3/8 x 8Extension = 16 1/4 x 8Extension 2 = 3 1/8 x 8 Assembly guide (generic dimensions): Important notes:- Setting your amp subsonic filter to 28Hz is suggested.
Markous
Thank you very much Joe X for those spec's, it is much appreciated. I don't really have readily available access to tools to do a box fab properly, so i broke down and bought a box almost identical to the one design you posted. It is 24x13x9 and tuned to 34hz it didn't give me a port width but i figured it's got to be 1 1/4 cause the pictures don't show a 2nd bend in the port and that seems to work with a 27" long port (25" physical) in Torres. After the displacement of the sub the tuning goes up to 36hz. Does 28hz still a good sub sonic filter level? or is that to wide of a spectrum? f16fxr4real
I know these can take a lot of power, but is it worth it to try these exact ecnlosures with 300 watts? What kind of power range would be ideal here?
