PardeTime
I have 12" dc level 3's, right now I'm using a probox. I picked up a custom built box. Guy claims its tuned to 34 hertz, measurements are 27" deep, 15" tall, 33" wide, with a port that is 21" deep and 5.5" wide. Wondering if anyone can get specs from these measurements? All the websites say its 6 cubic feet from what I see. Guy claims its 4' sorry me and math dont get along? Anoyone help
PardeTime
Heres pics if it helps. The port goes straight back, not a L port...

BoomZoom808
He is probably giving you the cu/ft after displacement not the entire volume of the box using outside dimensions. Joe X
Taking into account the displacement of 2 DC L3 12 drivers I get about 5 cubes@36Hz 74.25 square inches of port. That is if the port was measured along it's center line. EDITED for 12s, difference in displacement is minimal so specs about the same.

PardeTime
12" not 15" I think it may be too big. Thats what I'm wondering.... Should I just keep the probox?
Joe X
12" not 15" I think it may be too big. Thats what I'm wondering.... Should I just keep the probox? The box would be good for Audioque/SQ or DD subs, if the box is 15" tall, the holes for the subs should be around 11" diameter, aren't those holes a little larger?
