tacomaguy1 Posted April 17, 2013 Report Posted April 17, 2013 Your amp doesn't charge up, the line going to the amp isn't supplying the voltage Check the connections Team Flex Issues
Guest Posted April 17, 2013 Report Posted April 17, 2013 did you sand off all the grime and paint off the frame where the lug is bolted to?
SMZ2 Posted April 17, 2013 Author Report Posted April 17, 2013 Yeah I sanded it all off to bare metal... Also something else I noticed at idle if I rev the engine the voltage drops also. I have a feeling its the wire is has a few nicks in the insulation but none are all the way through. mrd6 Posted April 18, 2013 Report Posted April 18, 2013 Have you changed fuses yet? I would almost guarantee that is your problem...they dont always look blown when they are My Build Log: http://www.stevemead...-sundown-power/ Team NorthWestSPL
Pioneerchuck Posted April 18, 2013 Report Posted April 18, 2013 Sounds like it's offloading somewhere along the 1/0 run.
larrys95civic Posted April 18, 2013 Report Posted April 18, 2013 Did you use a grommet when going through your firewall? Insulation gets worn down and when it gets to thin it starts causing issues then when it wears through all the way it blows the fuse. SMZ2 Posted April 18, 2013 Author Report Posted April 18, 2013 Yes I did use a grommet but it still got nicked up because the grommet was sorta lose... The new runs will be under the truck. I haven't replaced it yet none of the local shops are in stock My Build Log!http://www.stevemead...nissan-xterror/ Check the Youtube Channel for Updates!http://www.youtube....ser/Xterror2002And Seller Feedbackhttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/163179-bought-from-smz2/#entry2363713
