SMZ2 Posted April 19, 2013 Author Report Posted April 19, 2013 It's a 250 amp fuse... I think its because the wire is so torn up though is what is causing it to fail... Idk though. Also its a power kit so it came crimped from IXOS My Build Log!http://www.stevemead...nissan-xterror/ Check the Youtube Channel for Updates!http://www.youtube....ser/Xterror2002And Seller Feedbackhttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/163179-bought-from-smz2/#entry2363713
SnowDrifter Posted April 19, 2013 Report Posted April 19, 2013 How much equipment do you have running from that fuse? Regarding what you said about the wire getting torn up: I'm starting to get concerned you might have a short somewhere. It's possible that the insulation on the wire may have rubbed through somewhere and now it's grounding out ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
SMZ2 Posted April 19, 2013 Author Report Posted April 19, 2013 I have a skar 2500.1 on it and the gains are set with the dd1... But I can only turn my head unit 3/4 of the way up right now because of voltage drop as I am saving for a battery bank.. OrionStang Posted April 19, 2013 Report Posted April 19, 2013 Run new wire. If you got cuts in the insulation, there is a good chance it is grounding out somewhere. Can you visually inspect the entire wire? SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

Can you visually inspect the entire wire? I can't visually inspect all of it but I will probably just pull I out tomorrow before it damages the amp. Thanks man I will probably just buy some 1/0 welding wire or car audio power wire soon, ofc of course My Build Log!http://www.stevemead...nissan-xterror/ Check the Youtube Channel for Updates!http://www.youtube....ser/Xterror2002And Seller Feedbackhttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/163179-bought-from-smz2/#entry2363713
