Trey_Dog650
CCA is a waste of time IMO. Why would you purposely get something that's a poor conductor? Yeah you could get more... But that's like saying you are going to eat at taco bell every meal because it's cheaper and you can eat more. Just run OFC. Make it count. Sorry but this kinda bugs me. Why don't just use gold then? Better conductor right? As long as you know what you're doing with what you have there is no issue between cca or ofc. And like I said with his short length of wire it makes no difference 13 Kia Forte Build! 07 Hyundai Accent Build ***Super Seller*** N8ball2013 And then he gets to say ok all you guys were right. im sorry for being a dummy poo poo head. And like I said with his short length of wire it makes no difference Yeah, it might be cheaper foor per foot. But look at it like this: Aluminum is only 60% as conductive as copper. Add in costs like fuses, holders, terminals, and anything else you might need for the extra run of wire you'd need and it ends up not being cost effective. In all honesty you could almost run 4 gauge ofc instead of 0 gauge cca. ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

Switching our a 1-2 ft piece of wire is gonna fix time issue op 13 Kia Forte Build! 07 Hyundai Accent Build ***Super Seller*** N8ball2013 And then he gets to say ok all you guys were right. im sorry for being a dummy poo poo head.
