Go with the Bxi 2607's. They will definatly do more power. The Sampson does 5,000 watts rms right? Well for the Bxi 2607's to do the same power, each one would have to only do 1,250 rms, and I know they do way more than that. I think they do like 2,000 rms each.

first mistake is buying it from onlinecarstereo.com...I tried to order a BXI 2607d there recently and it was horrible. I placed an order 2.5 weeks ago and just yesterday I cancled it because it still had not been processed. They never answer their phones and rarley reply to their emails...just horrible service.

from what rusty said the sampsons shouldnt be ran daily.

but for burps they should be fine.

if that helps at all so pretty much id need 2 sampsons or 8 bxi's or something that will put out the same power cleanly for around the same price

The Sampson is 8,000 watts and will Skool the shit out of those Bxi's BUT... The Sampson was made for burping, not for a daily amp. Turn it on burp it turn it off. The amp will most likely not make a full days use befor it breaks, It is not a bad design, thats not the issue, but is not set up for long term use, It will overheat and die. I love my Sampsons . 2 amps 163's
