I have voltage drop and that, I'm running kitneik hc1200 in the rear but heard if I upgrade that, it's not gonna make a difference. I know that amp can put out more power so would an alt be good? Where can I get a cheap one? Like around 300?

Bigger batterie(s) will help, but they're only band-aids. Invest in a new alt if you really want the most out of that amp. Basically if you get an alt your still gonna drop 12's till you get a battery.. But if you get a bigger battery your gonna drop 11's till you get the alt. soundstream15 Posted May 3, 2013 Author Report Posted May 3, 2013 200amps is the fusing for that AQ2200. I am at 1ohm. I'm in low 13s but when the bass gets lower the volts drop lower lol lowest I seem was 11.9 on 27hz. Usher-daddy's home. Seems I have no rise on those damn low notes lol
cjvue Posted May 3, 2013 Report Posted May 3, 2013 Sounds like you're all stock eletrical (minus the 1200). Ideally, I would upgrade the alt since you already have the 1200 in the rear. Don't cheap out on alt, it's the heart of your audio system... it pumps blood to multiple sources in your car and keeps your system (including your car) going on a daily basis.
