boom50cal
I'm gonna say that would be cutting it close. Maybe throw in another blue or yellow top, double up your 1/0 big 3, and do another run of 1/0 to the rear. Still, you'd have to watch your voltage at the amp like a hawk. RooTxBeeR
Even with a big reserve, your cutting it very close. If you do go ahead with it, keep a very close eye on your voltage, once you deplete the batteries your alt won't stand a chance. Dropping in high 12s Do the big 3 and replace that blue top. Make sure you got a volt meter to watch your volts
chad190
Okay, what battery should I run then? It's going on 2 OA 18s. Kranny
new alternator, not battery. you're still going to have voltage drop with 10 batteries. need more power created, not stored. if you want to be able to play for long periods of time without having to worry about voltage, get a new alternator. pdx94z28
A alternator before anything else. I went so far as to pull all fuses on my t2500bdcp until I get my alternator in. I was dropping to 12.2-11.8. Hopefully it won't be to long before I get the alt. I would rather not risk messing up expensive equipment because of low voltage. 1994 Camaro Z28 Skar ZVX 18D2 5.0cuft box 8" port tuned to 36h AQ2200 on the Skar PG V754 on the doors kenwoods for now All knukonceptz 1/0 power and ground Duralast platinum H8 battery in the back stock 140 amp alt for now YouTube is pdx94z28
