Just curious what a maximum required size box and 4000 to 4500 watts would do for my 15s' SPL numbers. Should I push'em harder or just go with 2 18" FI BLs or Obsidians? The obsidians are real budget friendly. The BL's are a much better sub overall though. boom50cal Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 I'm one of those money taking kids, just in the insurance department though my dad hates paying insurance on my F-250 and his volvo, that's now mine, but he made the agreement with me to do so since I pay for my schooling... Go with the BL's, you'll just want to go bigger after that lol. 2 BL 15's/18's could easily handle a 4k board them selves. brocc Posted November 21, 2013 Author Report Posted November 21, 2013 I was leaning about 90% towards the BLs, but I'm going with a budget build and the Obsidian 18s would work better for me. Plus they require less room and power with impressive output.
brocc Posted December 16, 2013 Author Report Posted December 16, 2013 I was a bit confused on what subs to go with. I wanted to run 2 FI BL 18s or Obsidian 18s, but I decided to keep it Oklahoma and go with 3 Soundqubed HDS315. Received one piece of the heavy duty arsenal on Friday.

brocc Posted February 14, 2014 Author Report Posted February 14, 2014 So, over a month has past. I had one HDS315, but they sold out before I got my other 2. So, instead of running 3 HDS315s, I'm going to run 2 18 inch HDC3s. I ordered one already and will save up for the other one. I still plan to attend some shows, beating just the one for now. I'll post some pictures later.
