96 Blazer walled..triple alt work

Recommended Posts

Small hangup.....went to cut out the rings for my tweeters, the.toolmaker jig goes down that small but were the pin would go on the jig the actual router is in the way. The base keeps the pin from going in

Oh well gonna have to jigsaw it I guess

Use a hole saw..... Quick and clean...

Your wood working (insert joke cheer) skill looks like a jig saw aint no thang anyway.... so im sure youll get er wrapped.

Your singer is the 270 model?

That may make a lot more sense on the belt length.. Feel me? I have a different model..... Shit.. glad we talked more about that buddy!!

Anyway...hope you enjoyed the fam, and the lil bit of get away. Travel safe. Wish ya the best....

alright got the jig figured out for the tweeters.....instead of putting the pin in thru the top, just put it in thru the bottom. Thought I was genius when I thought of it lol

Can't really see it under there, but that's where the pin for the cutout size needed to go

Setup from the bottom and I was good to go

20130519_161422_zpsefbe341b.jpg

Used some recycled cutout circle I had left over to cut these out of, that's what the big ring is in the next pics. One on the board still is the good one

Top flush ring done

Almost ran into the screw I had holding the ring down....good thing I caught it before I fucked up the bit

Cutout, but the terminals on the tweeters were too big as you can see. Buddy had my jigsaw and I didn't want to wait so I went at it with a dril and box cutter

Got it to fit. Tweeter sits a little far down, but I think it'll look alright

Did it again for the second one and was good to go
