CXMaudio
I finally got some more work done on my build. All the inside birch is up. I got some fiber glassing done; however I still have more to do on that. The next step will be the front baffle. Finally done with that I started applying the resin and fiberglass, but I haven't got it done yet. I also started on the wiring. Got to have those car audio stickers. lol fiber glassing for voltage meter... not to bad for a first My YouTube Chanel: http://www.youtube.com/user/cxmaudio *subscribe*
CXMaudio
Here is the wall build design. Like I said before, the wall will have interchangeable aero ports. I might build some slot ports to. I have never seen a wall build like this before. let me know if you have My friend Mike designed this for me. It is inspired by his camry trunk wall. as you can see in the video below.... The first port I will be building is the one on the right. the ports are both 9.5 inches in diameter. The tuning will be 34hz. The port on the right will be about 12 inches in diameter and will be tuned to about 30hz ( low bass ftw ) Mike's camry build http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXzBSdmfz6g My YouTube Chanel: http://www.youtube.com/user/cxmaudio *subscribe*
Omega5002
I like the interchange-able sonotube idea, love the efficiency and port area you can get from them. 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
CXMaudio
Things are really starting to come together now. I got the front baffle on, looking pretty sick! Building the front baffle, It is double layer birch for the subs to screw into. then another layer will be going on to flush mount the subs and make everything look good. the most handy tool ever Big thanks to mike for helping me out with the front baffle. Next step will be building the port. My YouTube Chanel: http://www.youtube.com/user/cxmaudio *subscribe*

CXMaudio
Hello How did you make your first wood layer stick to the metal of the car securely? Did you screw into the metal or glue the boards to the car? Thanks I'm not to sure what you are asking. For the false floor I have 2x4s bolted through the frame of the car. The front baffle is screwed to wood. I hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask any more you might have.
