Put the order in for the basket, glue, gasket, and dustcap. The rest of the spider are here. I built the tool to separate the magnets, used my grad money to buy a full RIGID toolset, gonna order the rest of the magnets tomorrow, and look to getting a steel plate milled out and sent to me.

jk, I'll never be able to accurately reproduce the sound frequencies in anything above a quasi-fifth with a home made woofer anytime before next summer, so a simple fourth will have to do. Hopefully we can still do a hair-trick by the end of it???

You still planning on doing 10 spiders?

Not sure Id do that many. Especially if you are using the driver in a 4th. Plus having something that stiff will kill the efficiency

Agreed, you want something that isn't nearly as stiff for a 4th. If you're gonna ruin a stiff spider pack maybe just go simple ported. Your motor force is probably crazy stupid because of that Neo. I'd just run a ported box and call it done.

Why don't nobody read no mo'! lol jk jk jk. I'm only using 4 spiders. 2 stacked together connected at the cone, and 2 stacked together an inch below. having them in different spots should increase the linearity of the whole stroke I believe?

If you can machine your own motor then that would be nasty.... built, not bought

Well I'll have to use regular tools lol.................. I don't have a milling machine....... I at least need to get the steel plates cut period. I can't find any local shops with thick enough steel that I can buy. But maybe I'll drill my own holes........... (that's what she said btw)

I read....and stuff. Typically subs that are softer on suspension are friendly for 4th orders. You create a stiff suspension, you're better off for a typical ported application.
